Been a long time…..hope all s fine…..This post is dedicated to the one most irritable disease dats hiting human race-Insomnia……Till last month I ve been a guy who hits the sack at 12…or maximum 1…..I am blessed to be in a company dat asks me to work from evening thru morning J…..but even then till last month I used to find it easy to sleep at nights….Everythings kinda changed now…..The clock keeps ticking and urs truly keeps blinking, gaping at the roof and chking the cell phone ( of course for the time yar!)….2, 3, 3:40…….and finally by 4 I manage to get my eyes drooped! Its really irritating to sleep when everyone works and work when everyone sleeps! Specially when u don have ur parents to pamper u wid coffee and breakfast when u get up late….
Yesterday it so happened dat I skipped my dinner…..and stayed awake till 2:40…..i couldn control my hunger after dat-went out in pursuit of something edible to swallow-found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING-returned home to find my boring roomies snoring-opened the bag which had some bread pieces dumped in it….took 2 pieces n ate it wid jam spread all over it!!!! I NOW KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF GHAR KA KHANA!!! The bread pieces I ate were so damn dried up dat I had to stretch it wid my not-so-strong canines!
FLASHBACK-13 months ago- “ Mom make some cutlets today, I feel like munching em nw-the weather is also nice u c J “! Mom replies-“ I planned to make dosas-the dosa maavu is still left….i ll make cutlets tomo!”
Shyam: “ Illa! I want cutlets only today…..i feel like eating them”
Mom: “ ok ok…..tomo u shud have dosas then!”
Enough of flashback-back to reality-I jus couldn’t but think of those days of me ordering, requesting my mom to make the dishes of my choice and now when m alone-Kaanju pona Bread……
Thank u God! Only when u face such things u knw the importance of real love!
I love my company for
- It makes me work throughout the night
- It makes me work from early in the day-as early as 5.
- Its given me high level work.
