Its Monday n back to office after 2 wonderful days! Saturday n Sunday was fun filled tis time round-saw 3 flix- 1 tamil n 2 english-SA-RO-JA , Mummy-3 n THE LAST SAMURAI......It was ma first outing in Bangalore-Praveen had buked the tkts for Saturday matinee show for SA-RO-JA-a film dat mostof my frenz liked n almost forced me to better watch it! We reached the CINEMA half an hour before n the multiplex is definately a much hyped one-200 bucks for not-so-posche multiplex.....definately below Sathyam n PVR(Hyd).....but then we have no choice here-hafta see it in one of the 2 theatres! The movie is a perfect example of good screenplay-never felt bored even for a minute and the music was outstanding too! New actors n a not-so-experienced director, but the movie was way too good-definately better than the much hyped Dasavatharam......We loved every scene in the movie n came out satisfied-definately a 3.5 outa 5 :-)
We then set out to Indra Nagar-Praveen, a food lover like me, promised me to show the Tamil Nadu in bangalore-in terms of food! We set to Suswadh, a small restaurent n we had some tasty Idlies n Malli Masala Dosa-verdict-excellent! Then a cup of coffee-verdict-outstanding, definately better than the screwed up CCD coffee...."This is Tanjavoor Degree coffee for u man!"
Back home it was time for the home-theatre cinema-Mummy-3-one word-Sucked! Bad movie! Nothing worth mentioning abt it here!
SUNDAY: After a good night sleep, again myself n praveen decided to watch "The Last Samurai", which stars Tom Cruise! Its abt the war against the westernization of japan by a grp of Samurais! Awesome direction n Music.....even the minute emotions were potrayed wid utmost dignity!! a good performance by Tom Cruise....It wasnt like these funny english flicks where u get to see the hero fly or beat a hundred guys widout logic! This movie would surely leave an impression in ur heart abt the way u think n see life!!!
So the weekend is over n back to business here-got some trainings this week n yaaayy!!!-m going home next week!!! :-)
